Corrections Policy
We hold ourselves to the same standard of transparency we demand from the organizations we investigate.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
AFTorg is committed to correcting errors promptly, prominently, and transparently. When we get something wrong, we fix it and tell our audience exactly what changed and why.
Correction Process
Minor Factual Corrections
Errors in dates, dollar amounts, titles, or other discrete facts are corrected in the text with a correction notice appended at the top of the article, stating the date of correction, the original error, and the corrected information.
Major Corrections
Errors involving core claims, conclusions, or characterizations include a detailed editor's note at the top of the article explaining what was wrong, how the error occurred, and how it has been corrected.
Retractions
Articles with fundamental errors that cannot be corrected through amendment include a prominent retraction notice with a full explanation. The original text is preserved with strikethrough formatting for transparency.

Corrections Log
October 13, 2026
Mitch Snow: The Sworn Record vs. the Public Record. The review said the plaintiff's motion for an order to preserve devices in Harpole v. Owens βhas never been decided.β That was wrong. A magistrate judge denied the motion on July 6, 2026 (Doc. 26), writing that the ordinary duty to preserve evidence already applies. The page and the assistant's briefing were corrected. The PDF report published on October 7, 2026 still carries the earlier wording and will be reissued.
This log is updated whenever a correction is made to a published investigation, review or article.
